“For the past two decades, I have served as an advocate for foster children and it has been my mission to provide them with a voice that they didn’t have,” said Dottie Berger MacKinnon, founder of The Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, Inc. “I wanted to raise the bar on how foster kids are treated. The system can treat them as numbers and dollars; we treat them as children with emotions.”
“With Simply Smart Milk, you can taste a difference – all the taste without all the fat. We’re proud to invite consumers to Make a Difference in their local communities by honoring three exceptional women and the organizations they support,” said Elizabeth Underhill, Senior Marketing Manager, HP Hood. “Acknowledging Dottie and Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, Inc., for the work they do to help local women make the right choices for themselves, their families and their communities is important.”
