Friends, families and contemporaries gathered together to support foster children at the 8th annual “Home Is Where the Heart Is” Holiday Stroll benefiting Kids Charity of Tampa Bay.
Twinkling lights welcomed the 150 attendees as Adalia Avenue residents, Eileen and Bruce Goldenberg graciously opened their home for the first stop of the night. Guests were greeted at the door with glasses of champagne as they made their way through the home to a dazzling array of hors d’ oeuvres.
The party followed a saxophonist Pied Piper next door to the home of Siri and Bernard Rock, as delectable selection of savory treats awaited them. Guests mingled on the wide veranda, socialized around the pool area and enjoyed the ambiance of a fire pit under a beautiful star filled sky.
Party-goers had two travel options as the festivities progressed to the home of Cindy and Brent Hart on Baltic Avenue. Hop on a golf cart for a short ride or travel dock to dock in the water taxi, Never, Never Land, and enjoy the sights on the bay. Coffee and cordials and desserts, awaited guests as they arrived. The favorite of the night was the flaming Bananas Foster.
Adding to the soothing warmth of the delicious menu was the festive and ambient atmosphere discovered at each home. Guests declared the night truly enchanting and are already making plans to be back next year. The occasion raised $24,000 to support the children served by Kids Charity of Tampa Bay.
