The Guardian Society is the Annual Giving Program of A Kid’s Place. It represents our community of supporters who see themselves as philanthropist and advocates for children who are unable to care for and protect themselves. Through your contributions as a guardian to our children you make an immediate impact to the brothers and sisters living in our care.

Following in the legacy of our late founder and visionary Dottie Berger MacKinnon, we launched this program in her honor to ensure that we have the funds needed to give children a safe and loving home for decades to come.

As a member of the Guardian Society you join A Kid’s Place’s most loyal donors who support our mission and play a pivotal part of propelling our work forward.

The Guardian Society serves as a way to highlight and recognize these amazing donors. This past year, we are proud to say we had over 300 members and 35% of our total operating budget was raised thanks to individuals, foundations and corporations like you.

Guardian Society members are also acknowledged in different ways based on their membership level and cumulative giving. Below please find options for membership and associated benefits.

Thank you for being a guiding light in our children’s futures!

*Our annual listing will include Individual Donors, Corporations, Sponsorships, Grants and Foundation Gifts. Gifts will be recognized during the fiscal year, July 1st through June 30th. Any gifts received after June 30th will be recognized in the next fiscal year. With your help, we are providing a safe, loving, and nurturing home for foster children
