A Kid’s Place has recently been working with Keys to Independence, a program designed to provide youth in foster care access to driver’s education and a driver’s license. Our teens 15 and older are enrolled in DATA (Drug, Alcohol, and Traffic Awareness) class which is the first required step in securing their driver’s license. Two have completed the class, and one has even taken the test for getting their restricted license.
