In 2019 A Kid’s Place created 6 paid positions for our pre-teen/teens to allow them the opportunity to gain work experience and make some extra money. This Onsite Work Program guides teens through details on how to apply for jobs, complete applications, and properly dress and prepare for a job interview.  Over 15 children have successfully completed the program working in various positions on our campus.

Most of the children who participate in the program are 14 years old and younger. They are eager to work, learn, and be a little more independent. Five of our older teens have accepted part time positions at local businesses and we are extremely proud of them and the progress they have made.
