A Kid’s Place showed their Irish pride at the St. Patrick’s Day celebration held on campus. The children dressed head to toe in green in hopes they would win the most festive attire award. Afterwards, the AKP leprechauns left coins and a pot of gold and goodies around the courtyard for the children to find.

All that running around built up an appetite, so a hearty meal was prepared by house parents and staff for all of AKP to enjoy. Some favorites such as Lucky Charms pancakes, corned beef, shepherd’s pie, and lots of green jello! After a delicious feast, the most spirited of the AKP crew taught the children an Irish jig.
