Making Memories
What does spring mean to you? For many it’s a time for new beginnings as we start to spring clean and reset, a time for growth and change, and for others it’s simply a time to spend with family and friends for some fun. Spring at A Kid’s Place involves 60 children excited for a break from school and looking forward to some good times.
We are diligently at work with staff and donors in planning special meals, classes, and outings to keep our children entertained. At the time of this writing, 60% of our children are over the age of 10. As our demographics change to support older children so does our need for age appropriate activities to promote normalcy and create fun memories.
You can be apart of creating many first time experiences for these children. Things that we often take for granted or consider “normal” in our everyday life is not always the case for children in foster care. Our kids have celebrated many first birthday celebrations, first concerts, first sporting events, first ride at an amusement park and much more thanks to individuals like you.
Can we count on you to spring into action and help us give our children an unforgettable spring break?
