In honor of Women’s History Month, we would like to shed light on amazing women and little women who are committed to doing amazing things in our community.

Meet Lila, a 7 year old philanthropist and leader in the making. We had the pleasure of getting to know Lila during our Take 5 interview and spent some time with her twin sister and mother, Julie.

Diligent, Leader, Sweet (I like to help kids and old people)

What is your favorite thing about A Kid’s Place?

You help people

What are you most passionate about?

Being a good student in school.

Who/what inspires you?

I read a story on google of a girl who helped kids by filling backpacks and I wanted to do it too. 

What is your favorite food?

Pulled pork sandwiches

What chore do you absolutely hate doing?

I like chores!

She likes to help, she likes hanging laundry on the laundry rack ~mom

What is a secret talent that no one knows?

Good at Gymnastics

Who is your favorite superhero?

Batgirl

If you could have a superpower what would it be?

I would have magnetic hands. I could make things grow fast or save a kitten from a tree.

Words of advice for our children?

Never be disappointed that you are not with your real family because these people take good care of you.
