Beth Bradburn

Chair

Beth Bradburn was born outside of Chicago and grew up in the Midwest. She joined the United States Air Force in 1983 and served 9 years in California, Turkey and Texas, including Desert Storm and Desert Shield before moving to the west coast of Florida in 1992.

Beth is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Homes by West Bay, LLC, a private homebuilder in the Tampa Bay area. She previously served as Controller and Division Finance Manager for several large public homebuilders for over 20 years before joining Hones by West Bay in 2011.

Beth is active with the Urban Land Institute in Washington DC, serving on the Residential Neighborhood Council (Gold Flight). In addition, Beth serves as the Chairperson on the Board of Directors for A Kid’s Place, a Group Foster Home in Brandon, FL and is a Life Member of the Tampa Bay Builders Association. Beth has also been very active with the Girl Scouts of Gulf Coast Florida for many years and served as the Treasurer of the Riverview High School Kiltie Band Booster organization.

Beth attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. She resides in the Greater Tampa Bay Area with her husband Tony and enjoys spending time with her daughters and their families, including five very active grandchildren.

Dimple Morgan

Vice Chair

Dimple is an accomplished professional with a robust background in accounting and finance, bringing valuable experience from both the profit and nonprofit sectors since 2021. Over the years, Dimple has managed and overseen all critical areas of accounting and finance, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. Their experience spans financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and the implementation of best practices that ensure organizational stability and growth.

With a natural progression into strategic and business operations, Dimple has proven to be a versatile leader, adept at driving the long-term vision of an organization while maintaining a focus on day-to-day efficiency. One of Dimple’s core strengths is the ability to build and maintain high-performing teams, fostering environments where collaboration, accountability, and professional development are at the forefront. Dimple’s leadership has steered teams through large-scale budget management, ensuring resources are allocated wisely and financial objectives are consistently met.

Beyond their professional accomplishments, Dimple has served on the Board of A Kids Place of Tampa Bay since 2015, reflecting a deep commitment to supporting children and strengthening the organization’s mission. Helping both the kids and the organization remains a significant personal priority, further highlighting Dimple’s dedication to making a positive difference in the community.

Outside of a successful career, Dimple is devoted to family. Dimple cherishes time spent with her two wonderful boys, often found on the soccer field cheering them on or engaging in spirited play. A passionate cook, Dimple delights in creating memorable meals for family and friends, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary gatherings.
With a unique blend of financial expertise, strategic vision, and a people-centered approach, Dimple continues to make a meaningful impact both in and out of the workplace.

Linda C. Hanna, Esq

Secretary

Linda Hanna is an estates and trusts lawyer with substantial experience in corporate and tax law, and business transactions. She counsels clients on a wide variety of issues related to preserving and passing wealth to following generations, including creative approaches to solving the many non-tax issues which arise in family relationships in the estate planning process.

Long active in the Tampa non-profit community, Linda is a former member of the boards of Joshua House, Friends of Joshua House Foundation, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, among others. She has served as Chair of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar and Secretary of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and was a founding member of Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.

A Florida native and graduate of Hollins College, she earned her law degree from Florida State University College of Law. Since 1976 Linda has lived in Tampa, where she and her husband, Joe Hafner, brought up their adult children, Sarah Kate and Patrick.

Erik Fisher

Treasurer

Erik currently serves as Managing Director at Legacy Wealth Partners and works for his clients as a fiduciary, Certified Financial Planner™ professional and RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional). With over a decade of experience in personal financial planning, Erik’s specialty is helping people retire on-time and on-target. Thorough and innovative, his process produces measurable results, with the goal in mind to increase annual retirement income, liquidity and ultimately legacy, while developing tax strategies and maximum flexibility along the way to and through retirement. Erik’s communication skills, grasp of economics, use of the latest technology, and desire to serve has brought him a diverse and successful clientele across the country.

Erik is also a volunteer and board member for non-profit organizations throughout the country including A Kid’s Place and the Round of a Lifetime Foundation.

Erik grew up in Tampa and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in business. After living in Washington DC and New York City, Erik resides in Sarasota, FL with his wife Melanie and 2 children.

Joe Troy

Apax Partners

Joe Troy is an Operating Partner at Apax Partners, a global private equity firm based in London and New York. Prior to Apax, Joe was Chairman and CEO of Boasso Global, Inc. Prior to Boasso, Joe was EVP & CFO of Quality Distribution and held leadership positions with Walter Industries, Inc. including EVP & CFO. Earlier in his career, Mr. Troy held corporate banking positions with NationsBank and predecessor banks. Joe is on the advisory board of University of Tampa’s Sykes School of Business and is a member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay. Joe currently serves on several corporate boards including “Depot Connect International”, a Tampa-based industrial services firm, “Coalfire”, a Seattle-based cyber security firm and “Nova Data Solutions”, an Insurtech business based in Philadelphia. He is a founding board member of A Kid’s Place and has served continuously since its inception. Mr. Troy was Board Chair of A Kid’s Place for four years, immediately succeeding founder Dottie Berger MacKinnon after serving as her Vice Chair since its inception in 2009. Joe has been involved with numerous charitable organizations since arriving in Tampa in 1993 and has been active in supporting child welfare causes after meeting Dottie in 2000. Mr. Troy previously served on the boards of Joshua House, Friends of Joshua House Foundation, and Kids Charity of Tampa Bay. Joe lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife Debbie and their three children: Michael, Madison and Rachel.

Honorable Daryl Manning

Hillsborough County Court

Daryl Manning, originally from Queens, NY, has been a Hillsborough County Judge in Tampa, Florida since 2015. He presides over a drug treatment court division and a unified family court division (Dependency). He was a practicing and supervising attorney in the Tampa Office of the Florida Attorney General for sixteen years, where he appeared in state and federal trial and appellate courts.

Judge Manning obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Army Judge Advocate Legal Center and School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, N.Y. and his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, S.C.

Judge Manning was a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Army and served several tours in support of the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2015 after 30 years on active duty and in the reserves. Among his numerous positions, he served as a prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney and led a counter terrorism team consisting of law enforcement, SWAT and Intelligence agencies. Prior to becoming a JAG, Judge Manning was an Artillery Officer and fought in Operation Desert Storm. Before attending college, he was an enlisted soldier working as a mechanic. He was awarded two Bronze Star Medals for his meritorious service.

Judge Manning was a member of both the National Conference of Bar Examiners and the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, where he served as chair from 2013 – 2015. He was a member of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee in Hillsborough and is a certified Guardian ad Litem. Judge Manning has been a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister program for many years and currently serves as the Chairman for the Hillsborough County Canvassing Board (Election Board) and the Hillsborough County Community Alliance. As an adjunct law professor, he teaches Criminal Procedure, Alternate Dispute Resolution and Military Law.

Mark Tubb

Aberdeen Advisors, Inc.

Mark is a finance executive/CPA and has lived in the Tampa Bay area for 30 years. Originally from Mississippi, he attended Mississippi State University, obtaining both his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Accounting. Mark is a founding director and treasurer of A Kid’s Place and also chairs the Quality Assurance Committee. He is also involved with other non-profit organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Steve Ratcliff

A Kid's Place Advocate & Volunteer

Steve Ratcliff graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in finance and business administration. With a career spanning 45 years in the Auto, RV, and Insurance industries, Steve has held numerous significant positions. He spent a decade as the Vice President of Canada and Associates, followed by 25 years as the Vice President of Finance and Insurance at Lazydays RV. His career culminated with a five-year tenure as a Sales Manager at General RV, from where he retired.

Steve has been a Board Member with A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay since 2008 and chairs the Program Committee. During his time at Lazydays RV, Steve was a founding board member of the Lazydays Employee Foundation, where he served as Vice President. In retirement, he enjoys staying active by cycling, swimming and playing golf. Steve lives in Plant City with his wife of 45 years.

Terry Curry

Trey Curry Foundation

Terry has lived in the Tampa/Brandon area for over 30 years. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The University of South Florida in education and administration. Terry then worked as an educator/administrator, for emotionally handicapped students, in Hillsborough County Schools. She ended her educational career at Brandon Academy, an Independent Private school, where she retired as the Head of School and Owner in 2006. During her educational career she served on numerous educational boards as well as in several state appointed board positions.

In 2008 the Curry family lost their oldest son, Trey. At that time the family established The Trey Curry Foundation to provide assistance for children in need within the Greater Brandon community. The Trey Curry Foundation and the Curry family became involved with A Kids Place when they committed to purchasing the naming rights of one of the five houses at A Kid’s Place in Trey’s memory.

Terry currently serves as a board member for A Kid’s Place and Derrick Brooks Charities.

Terry is married to Brandon attorney Clif Curry. Her children, Mary Beth and Colton, live in Tampa. She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, reading, and volunteering.

Gil Singer

Kass Shuler, P.A.

Gilbert Singer was born New York and admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America, AV Rating with Martindale-Hubbell. For over 44 years, Gil has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tampa where he served as President and was the recipient of the Doyle Carlton Memorial Award in 2002 honoring the Kiwanian of the Year.

Gil serves on the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee and was their attorney for over 20 years. He led the Hillsborough County legal response team for the reelection of Governor Jeb Bush in 2002. He was also a member of President George W. Bush’s Legal Team, and actively participated in the 2000 Florida recount.

Mr. Singer is a founding member and former president of the Grand Krewe de Libertalia, the first multi-cultural Krewe in Tampa history. He was also a longtime volunteer attorney for the Guardian Ad Litem program in Hillsborough County. In 1996, and again in 2024, he was honored by the Florida Bar and the Florida Supreme Court for his pro bono service. He was also awarded the Jimmy Kynes award by the Hillsborough County Bar Association for lifetime pro bono achievement. He has also been active as a board member for A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, Crossroads Florida Kids, Joshua House, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, LifeLink, and has served on the Citizens Advisory Commission to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners.

In 2002, Governor Jeb Bush appointed Gil to the Florida Commission on Human Relations, where he served a four-year term as Commissioner. In 2007, Governor Charlie Crist reappointed him to this same post, where he was elected and currently serves as Chairman of the Commission. Gil has been and continues to be active as a volunteer in local, statewide and national political campaigns.

In 2011, Mr. Singer was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Judicial Nominating Commission of the 13th Judicial Circuit and served until 2019. This commission interviews potential judicial appointees and makes recommendations for judicial appointment to the Governor.

Mr. Singer is a member of the Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club and The Royal Krewe of Privateers.

Tom Spangler

Burgess Civil

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Tom Spangler is a strategic financial leader currently serving as CFO at Burgess Civil. His career spans senior financial roles at both international and local firms, specializing in financial reporting, operational efficiency, and long-term growth strategies. A Virginia Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Information Systems, he has extensive experience in construction finance, insurance, risk management, Safety, IT, and Legal. Passionate about giving back, Tom serves on the board of A Kids Place, a foster home serving Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and United Way. He and his wife, Megan, enjoy Florida’s outdoor activities with their son, including golf, boating, and attending Lightning, Rays, and Buccaneers games.

Art Schultz

A Kid's Place Advocate & Volunteer

The former leader of the Zenith American Solutions family of companies, Art Schultz has spent more than 30 years in the insurance and managed care industry. He joined Consolidated Group (CGT) in 1986 and served in various capacities prior to his promotion to executive vice president and COO in 1992. One of the largest third-party administrators, CGT was acquired in 1996 by HealthPlan Services, where Art served as COO from 2001 to 2011.

In 2011, Art was promoted to the position of president/CEO of Zenith American, a division of HealthPlan Holdings, and is responsible for the largest Taft-Hartley administration in the industry.

As CEO, Art is proud to oversee Zenith American in providing superior service and solutions to nearly 2 million plan participants.

Joe O'Malley

RV Select

Joseph O’Malley brings a wealth of experience and dedication to A Kid’s Place. Having moved to Tampa from Chicago, Joe has spent the past five years at Lazydays RV where he serves as the wholesale buyer. His commitment to community service is evident in his role as the Community Relations Chair for the Lazydays Employee Foundation.

Joe’s passion for supporting children and families stems from his 12 years as a foster parent, during which he formally adopted his two children. Joe values family and spending time with his wife of 20 years Karen and daughters Marti and Linda exploring Tampa. He is enthusiastic about contributing to A Kid’s Place, where he looks forward to making a positive impact in his community.

Matt Walsh

Continuum Wealth Partners

Matt joined Continuum Wealth Partners in 2012 and has over 17 years of financial services experience. Matt has worked with clients through both the ups and downs of market cycles, having launched his career in 2007. As an advisor with Continuum Wealth Partners, he brings that experience to life, building all weather portfolios designed around clients’ individual financial planning goals.

Matt resides in Clearwater, FL with his wife Jessica, son Cameron, and their dog Scout. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys boating and fishing, as well as coaching his son in youth hockey development.

In addition, Matt is a Past President of the Florida West Coast Employee Benefits Council. He attends Faith Covenant Church of St. Petersburg and supports multiple charities in the Tampa Bay community.

Gina Miles

Gina Miles is a proud third-generation native of Tampa, deeply connected to the city’s rich cultural heritage and its remarkable growth over the years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida and has since dedicated over 25 years to a successful career in real estate. Throughout her journey, Gina has utilized her marketing expertise, team-building abilities, and problem-solving skills, all while actively engaging in various volunteer roles.

Gina thrives on collaboration and enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals. She and her husband, Chris, recently celebrated 35 wonderful years of marriage and are the proud parents of three amazing sons.

Currently, Gina serves on the Board of the Florida Executive Realty HOPE Foundation, a non-profit organization that donates 100% of its contributions to individuals facing emergency needs and supports five local charities, including A Kid’s Place. Additionally, she is a member of her neighborhood’s Special Dependent District Board, where she helps manage public tax funds to enhance the community’s appearance. One of Gina’s most cherished volunteer roles is on the Development Committee at A Kid’s Place, and she also dedicates her time to the Guardian Ad Litem Program, advocating for the best interests of foster children.

Gina has always had a heartfelt passion for helping others, especially children. Her sons often wondered why she would stay with a lost child until their guardian arrived. Her response was simple: “I would hate it if something bad happened to them as a result of my walking away.” This commitment to caring for others is why A Kid’s Place holds a special place in her heart. Gina is dedicated to ensuring that the children in their care feel safe, loved, and supported.

Heather Alvarez

A Kid's Place Advocate & Volunteer

Heather is a successful entrepreneur and a distinguished figure in her industry. With over 25 years of experience, she has built multiple businesses centered around her dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences. She is a wife and mom to 7 children, whom she shares with her husband, Danny. They have 5 children at home with one attending FSU (don’t hold this against her) and one proudly serving in the United States Air Force.

Craig Zampiceni

Preferred Materials, Inc.

Craig Zampiceni is a seasoned executive in the construction materials industry with over 20 years of leadership experience at Preferred Materials, Inc., a CRH company, North America’s largest building materials company with $38.6 billion in 2024 revenue. As Vice President and General Manager of the Tampa-based Concrete and Block division, Mr. Zampiceni leads a team of 200 employees working in 7 concrete plants and 2 block plants, generating $150 million of revenue in 2024. His strategic oversight has driven strong financial performance, operational excellence, and regional growth. Mr. Zampiceni is married to Carly and together they have three children, twins aged eight and a ten-year-old.

As the region chair for the Florida Concrete & Products Association and a member of multiple national industry performance improvement teams, Mr. Zampiceni brings expertise in organizational governance, strategic planning, and process optimization.

For four years, Mr. Zampiceni has championed A Kid’s Place as the beneficiary of Preferred Materials’ annual Holiday Sporting Clay Tournament, raising $121,000 and supporting the organization’s Christmas toy drive. Mr. Zampiceni and preferred Materials are also participants in A Kid’s Place’s Golf Tournament and Gala. Mr. Zampiceni is passionate about the mission to provide safe, loving homes for children in foster care. Mr. Zampiceni holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and an MBA both from the University of South Florida. Committed to community impact, Craig Zampiceni is eager to contribute strategic leadership to A Kid’s Place board.

Brad Gregory

CEO

Mr. Gregory has worked in child welfare since 1993. Prior to joining A Kids Place as CEO in 2017 Brad worked for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches as the Vice President of Programs responsible for all statewide residential services. He has served on the Florida Coalition for Children’s Board, Brandon Chamber of Commerce Board, the Partners for Florida’s Children’s and Families Board and on the Westwood Baptist Church Board. Brad holds a MS degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a BS degree in Criminology from Florida State University. Brad was an All-American baseball player while at Florida State and played professionally in the Minnesota Twins minor league system. He is a native Floridian and married to his wife Amy since 1995 and they have three children..

Jynelle Armstrong

Program Director

Mrs. Armstrong has a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Non-Profit Management and a Master’s degree in Psychology. She began working as a summer Youth Care Worker at AKP in 2012, and after graduation moved to Florida and became an employee working in HR/Administration. With the passage of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) in 2018, she moved into the role of Quality Improvement Manager, overseeing both FFPSA compliance and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation for the organization. In 2019, she became Program Director, responsible for managing all aspects of program operations, including supervision of Direct Care and Administrative staff and overseeing communication and operations with all outside organizations including child welfare workers, schools, medical and mental health personnel and counselors.

Samantha Mellen

Development Director

Samantha Mellen serves as the Development Director at A Kid’s Place, bringing a deep passion for community engagement and over a decade of nonprofit leadership to the role. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Samantha began her journey with A Kid’s Place in 2008 as a volunteer. Inspired by the mission, she officially joined the team in 2012.

Since then, she has helped grow and diversify the organization’s revenue streams, significantly increasing grant and fundraising support to ensure long-term sustainability. In 2025, Samantha earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) accreditation, underscoring her commitment to excellence, ethics, and impact in fundraising.

Samantha is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Tampa Bay Chapter and has been recognized with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Citizen’s Award and the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Award. She is proud to support other local causes and remains dedicated to creating a stronger, more compassionate community for all.

Tanya Gibson

HR Director

Tanya Gibson brings more than 15 years of human resources leadership to A Kid’s Place, combining strategic expertise with a genuine passion for people. With a career spanning corporate, nonprofit, and consulting environments, Tanya has led transformational HR initiatives that build inclusive, thriving, and mission-driven workplaces.

Before joining A Kid’s Place, Tanya served in senior HR roles—including Chief People Officer and Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging—where she spearheaded HR system implementations, strengthened organizational culture, and championed equity-centered people practices. Her leadership at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America shaped national strategies for employee engagement, DEI, and talent development that continue to make an impact across the country.

Tanya holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. She is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

At A Kid’s Place, Tanya is excited to continue her lifelong commitment to empowering others—creating an environment where every team member feels valued, supported, and equipped to serve the children and families who rely on the organization’s care. Her enthusiasm for innovation, collaboration, and compassionate leadership makes her a natural fit for advancing A Kid’s Place’s mission of providing safe, loving, and stable homes for children in need.
