“Guess what? I got a JOB and I work with them!” 9 year old Angel excitedly explained to everyone in sight as she made her way home to Curry House.
Angel was determined to get a job like the teens who work on campus; although underage for the teen program she wanted to prove that she had what it takes to join the Development Team. And she did just that!
A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, Inc. embraces the belief that all children have the right to grow up safe, healthy, and fulfilled in families that love and nurture them. The live-in House Parent Model is the cornerstone of our program, allowing brothers and sisters to live together in a healthy, nurturing environment. Family togetherness provides a feeling of safety and comfort, but each child is also provided an individualized plan to best meet his or her needs. For these children, A Kid’s Place offers a safe environment until a more permanent placement can be provided.
