Happy National Volunteer Week!
“The heart of a volunteer is never measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.” – DeAnn Hollis
Keeping brothers and sisters together in foster care is the heart of our work. But what makes that heart beat? It’s the hundreds of volunteers in our community!
YOU strengthen and lift up our homes, make days brighter, lessen the load and improve the lives of our children.
A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, Inc. embraces the belief that all children have the right to grow up safe, healthy, and fulfilled in families that love and nurture them. The live-in House Parent Model is the cornerstone of our program, allowing brothers and sisters to live together in a healthy, nurturing environment. Family togetherness provides a feeling of safety and comfort, but each child is also provided an individualized plan to best meet his or her needs. For these children, A Kid’s Place offers a safe environment until a more permanent placement can be provided.
