Our Impact
At A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, we provide a stable, loving, and nurturing home for children in foster care during difficult times, giving them the care, consistency, and resources they need to heal from the inside out.

Impact Made Possible by You
With your generosity, we’ve been able to make a life-changing difference for more than 1,700 children and nearly 800 families over the past 16 years. Every warm bed, every meal, every homework session, every moment of normalcy is made possible by people like YOU who believe in brighter futures.

AKP Capital Campaign
We’re constructing a new 12,000‑sq‑ft activity center and renovating housing to support young adults aging out of foster care.
The MacKinnon Family Activity Center will ensure every child has access to the opportunities they need to grow, heal and achieve success.
Your gift today will build a better and brighter future for children who need it most.
As Foster Care Stays Lengthen, A Kid's Place Expands its Mission.
Many children entering foster care after years of instability need more shelter. They need consistent adults, stable routines and the chance to remain with their brothers and sisters long enough to feel safe, trust others and simply be children again.

Take 5 with Ryan
If you’re looking for some encouragement, take some advice from Ryan, age 7!
Ryan’s advice to his friends who may be afraid of trying new things is simply, ‘Just do it, you got this!’.
Being with his brother makes him feel brave and family is the thing that brings him happiness!
Celebrating different holidays brings joy to us all and if Ryan could add to the holidays he would like to create Bubble Season where everyone gets bubbles!
