From Homework to House Pride: Celebrating our Stars ⭐

School’s out, and our hearts are full! We recently hosted a joyful end-of-year celebration to honor the incredible achievements of the children at A Kid’s Place. From the classroom to the home, our kids showed up with determination, kindness, and resilience—and we couldn’t wait to recognize them.

Eighteen students earned Perfect Attendance awards, proving that showing up matters. We proudly celebrated 9 students who made Honor Roll, and 12 who stayed on Honor Roll all year long—a true testament to their consistency and hard work. Most Improved awards went to three kids who rose to the challenge and made huge strides, while six Citizenship Awards were given to those who led with compassion and respect.

But the celebration didn’t stop at academics. We also honored how our children contribute to their homes and community. Special awards were given for Most Tidy Space, Most Likely to Help, and Most Positive Peer Relations, recognizing the little things that make a big impact.

We marked the occasion with a fun-filled BBQ, a DJ spinning their favorite songs, and a photo booth full of laughter and memories. It was a day to celebrate not just report cards, but resilience. We are so proud of every child and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!
