Nobody likes being sick on their birthday. Poor Ezra, 6, wasn’t feeling up to attending school that day so he stayed home with our staff. Later in the afternoon, Ezra received the sweetest surprise! His teacher, Ms. Laura, came by AKP with her children to wish him a happy birthday with balloons and treats! She explained that all of his friends at school missed him that day, so she brought the celebration to him! It always warms our hearts to see the love our community shows our kids.
