Florida’s Children First (FCF) has chosen Dottie Berger MacKinnon our 2011 Children’s Advocate award winner in order to publically recognize her wonderful work on behalf of the most vulnerable, abused, neglected and abandoned children in the community. The Tampa Bay Area Host Committee recommended her and the FCF Board of Directors selected her to be honored for her many years of service and all she has done for children and sibling groups coming into care and “raising the bar” on how foster children are treated. 

Nick Cox, Statewide Prosecutor, Office of the Attorney General of the State of Florida presented the 2011 Children’s Advocate award to Dottie Berger MacKinnon.
