New generators were installed just in time for hurricane season on every home on campus to minimize the disruption of power for our kids living at AKP. Being in foster care, adjusting to a new home is hard enough as it is. So, when something unpredictable happens, like bad weather, we want to take extra precautions to make sure our kids feel comfortable and at home. Last year we lost power for 5 days, and now they can remain safely in their homes here at AKP no matter what happens outside. This generous gift is one that will help protect children at A Kid’s Place for years to come!
