Jeff has been Property Manager at AKP for 5 ½ years. He has been an amazing mentor to our children and has had the opportunity to work with some of our teens through our Onsite Work Program teaching them valuable skills and giving them guidance. We are sad to see Mr. Jeff go but we wish him the best on his next journey. Happy Retirement!

What will you miss about A Kid’s Place?

The kids. I really enjoyed working with the teen boys during the summer.

What are you most excited for in retirement?

Being able to not do anything. I plan on not doing any projects for at least a month. I’m also looking forward to throwing my alarm clock away and going fishing.

What is your favorite memory of AKP?

Being able to take some of the boys fishing. I love seeing how much the kids grow and come out of their shells during their time at AKP.

Tell us about yourself

I was born and raised in Minnesota. I worked at Kraft Foods for 30 years. I moved to Tampa 14 years ago to manage facilities in Lakeland to start up. I found out A Kid’s Place was looking for a Property Manager through and ad on Craigslist. This is the best job I’ve ever had and the kids here make it worth it. Seeing the kids here helps me not miss my own kids so much.
